Born in Cameroon to a French mother and a Quebecois father, Sophie Rozenn lives and works in the Eastern Townships, surrounded by trees and children.

Contemplative by nature, she has been observing and drawing her surroundings for ages. For its transparency and fluidity, she favors watercolor while leaving room for digital exploration, depending on the project. She also adds the integration of cyanotype to her practice as a watercolorist and illustrator.

With a certificate in visual arts from Bishop's University and a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Ottawa, Sophie Rozenn oscillates between artistic creation and art teaching. She is a signatory member of the Canadian Watercolor Society and participates in numerous exhibitions. Her work can also be found in various children's book publishers.
