Marleen Inia is a Dutch architect and interior designer from origin - in recent years she has added art to her skills.

 

After more than 20 years of living, working and travelling across the globe, she is fascinated by various kind of social structures and cultures of countries and their people, especially women. Fed by her boundless curiosity and her urge to create day in-day out, she discovered that art is a fantastic medium to share the beauties, difficulties and differences of these various cultures.

 

"Fabulous Femme Forte" (or "FFF") is a series of women with incredible life-stories from all over the world. They are strong, independent and the backbone of the family, society and culture.

 

Marleen uses ink, charcoal and burns part of the artwork, be it in paper or canvas.

She has exhibited in the Netherlands, Congo, Paris and Singapore.
